Pet Dentistry

Maintaining the health of pets requires proper dental care. Similar to people, pets can develop plaque and bacteria on their teeth and gums, which can result in illness, tooth decay, and even tooth loss.

Pet Dentistry

Annual dental checkups are recommended for all cats and dogs. At your pet’s dental visit, Dr. Sherri or her staff will perform a thorough cleaning, polishing, and fluoride treatment. Your pet’s mouth will be examined for anything out of the ordinary. She will advise you as to any further intervention (such as extractions or oral surgery) that may be necessary and can give you tips on how to take care of your pet’s teeth between dental visits.

It’s completely understandable to feel a bit anxious when your pet needs surgery. Please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime to discuss your pet’s condition or if you have any questions at all about our surgical capabilities at Lovell Animal Hospital.
